I am Tera Farhat, my equation started as a daughter and sister. Which has since compounded to wife, mom, aunt, friend, and recruiter, to name just a few pieces of my equation.
Learning and solving problems is at my core. As a mom of six children and recruiting candidates across the nation, I am tasked with finding solutions every day. I listen and determine what I need to help explore to solve problems, while admittedly making mistakes along the way.
I am an experienced national recruiter with over 15 years of industry knowledge and expertise specifically related to the life science space. I try to bring passion in everything I do. I want to share about my career because I found one that fits, and I want to help others do the same. I’m an outgoing, relationship-building person that genuinely loves helping people. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am known for my transparency.
What I like to believe makes me different or sets me apart as a recruiter is being authentic, listening, becoming a partner, and not just being transactional. I continuously educate myself to be a better person, recruiter, and employee. What makes me a successful recruiter is the enthusiasm and passion I bring to my job.
Being involved in my community is important to me. From working with sports boosters to community advocacy programs to school bond proposals, I can always be called to lead and lend my voice. I love my family and community and will always be a part of improving both. My favorite saying in our house is, “We were all born to be leaders, we just have to decide what path we are going to take to lead”.
